To adapt global climate change and actively response to domestic environmental protection regulations, Siemens launched new eco-friendly blue GIS series for the first time in China, including 8DJH 12 (for
secondary power distribution) and 8DAB 12 (for primary power distribution).

8DJH 12 and 8DAB 12：

• Insulation gas consisting of natural elements of the ambient air, no F-gases or chemical additives, safe and non-toxic, global warming potential < 1;
• Equipped with proven vacuum technology, with environmental-friendly technology and efficient design;
• Development of new switchgear generation - inherit Siemens switching technique based on proven vacuum technology and all the benefits of gas-insulated switchgear. Meanwhile, blue GIS portfolio can satisfy customer’s needs for higher reliability of power supply and personal safety.

The new blue GIS series attract many visitors at the Siemens booth at the EP Shanghai 2019 with the slogan of "Switching to a Smarter Future".

Same as other Siemens medium-voltage switchgears, the blue GIS series can be equipped with smart devices and sensors to realize functions of smart power distribution system. This enables customer to monitor the operation status in real time and to make operation and maintenance in more efficient way.
