Some basic information about the customers:
Nabisco Ltd. China, the world's first biscuit company, has set up its first China company in Nov.1995. The advanced equipments and technique provide customer a solid basis for their normal production and produced various biscuits like cookie, cracker, snack and so on.

Project background:
As a well-established food company, Nabisco is keeping up to the world's latest scientific technique. It has become a core conception to apply the advanced technique to producing first class and high quality food.

System design plan:
The preceding system is controlled by a HMI and a set of S5155U PLC system. To keep ahead in the technique in a long time, we recommended the customer to use profibus control. We upgraded the S5 PLC system to S7-400PLC and other current controlling facilities based on the request of customers.

Detailed implement plan:
According to customer's request, the upgrading should be completed within 2 days. Limited time and complex technique are the difficult point of the project. To update the system safely and steadily, as well as to reduce the effect to the product, this rebuild should be conducted step by step.

Solving the previous problems:
Compared with old projects, we solved the inherent problems in the previous produce. Firstly, we solved the problem of the spare parts of the old equipment. Secondly, we improved the illogical parts of the original technique and design at the meantime of upgrade and application of new system. Thirdly, according to the customer need, we reserved an extendable interface so that customers can expand the system conveniently to meet the requirement of producing expand.

Current operation condition:
Currently, the system has successfully passed SAT. The controlling engineer told us that the whole control system has never failure and has a smooth running since the start.

Further decision:
Smooth running, perfect management function, expandability of the system and Siemens' professional service, all these make customer adhere to us closely and propose to sign additional contracts, expand the capacity of the system and increase the output actively. Now the new contracts are under negotiation.
