FY0910 1st Siemens Industry Sector
Top Partner Salon successfully held

In order to strengthen the communication between Siemens Industry Sector management and top distributor partner management, based on "Zero distance to the customer" concept, Siemens held the "1st Siemens Industry Sector Top Partner Salon " on March 8th and 9th in Guangzhou. General managers of totally 17 partners of IA division and DT division, 1 BT division partner attended this salon. Siemens Industry Sector management , BU leaders of 3 divisions and sales region leaders provided great support and close cooperation.

The salon meeting of March 9th began with the speech of Mr. Herweck, the president of Siemens Industry Sector. Focusing on "Economic outlook and branch shift", Mr.Herweck looked into the future of global economic situation and Chinese Macro economic environment. Based on his insightful analysis of industry development trend and its influence on China economy and industry market, Mr.Herweck discussed the influence on Siemens business and introduced measures which Siemens would take in FY0910. Finally, Mr.Herweck introduced the new organization chart of Siemens Industry Sector to those attending partner general managers. Mr. Yang Xuefeng, the new GM of Siemens Industry Partner Management, translated Mr.Herweck' s speech.

Afterwards, Mr.Schmid, Head of Siemens IPSS, outlooked FY0910 distributor business. His speech is focused on 4 topics, exchanging market information, strengthening market price control, competence enhancement and sharing common value. Then he summarized our progress on training pass ,distributor agreement process, and incentive scheme. In the end, Mr.Schmid compared current Siemens business and distributor business in 3 divisions, also presented requirement to partners―"Grow faster than the market!".

In this salon, as representatives, four GMs from partners made speech, introducing business operation in this fiscal year and showing expectation & recommendation to Siemens. From Siemens side, the GMs from IA, DT and BT divisions introduced BU policies and development strategies. Management of both sides held group discussions on core issues such as IA&DT&BT product cross-selling, distributor incentive scheme, stock management optimization and M3 market push. All partners also took initial estimation on FY0910 sales performance.

One difference between this salon and last lies on product promotion activity. On Mar.8th, organized by PM department, all partner GMs visited Guangzhou SPS-Industrial Automation Fair. On Siemens exhibit, BU product experts introduced new updated products and application in OEM branches. All participated partners expressed great interest on Siemens product and technology, and hoped to attend more similar promotions.

By this two-days top partner salon, both Siemens and partners timely and correctly exchanged market information which set up a good foundation for distributor policy and management measures adjustment. We must do our best to achieve excellent FY0910 distributor business performance!
