Since it rolled out form June, 2008, Siemens Solution Partner Program (SPP) in has got rapid development in China for IA&DT business. By end of fiscal year 0809, 44 excellent SI companies of China have been involved in the program, which have become the benchmark of SI business for IA&DT China. Some of them are even far beyond the basic requirements of SPP. In order to help these top partners to improve their business and industry influence, strengthen the partnership with Siemens in industrial automation field, in 2009, IA&DT China began to develop the higher level partnership of SPP – Solution Partner Specialist.

According to the global standards of SPP, the qualification is much more strictly for Solution Partner Specialist. Acquisition process is very rigorous. Experts of SPP headquarters form Germany will come to China to conduct on site audit for candidate companies. In November 2009,

Hangxing International Automation Engineering Co., Ltd. and other 3 partners accepted specialist audit for PCS 7 module. In January 2010, Shanghai Baosight software Co.,Ltd and other 4 partners accepted specialist audit for WinCC module. Based on the result of on site audit and evaluation for partner documentation, SPP headquarters released Audit Confirmation for all candidate companies in February 2010, so that we can start contract signature with partners in the new fiscal year 0910. This is a remarkable milestone that the first Solution Partner Specialist emerged in China.

With development of SPP, Partner Management Department will strengthen the cooperation with BU and Regions to attract and develop more high-quality SI partners to join the program, so as to further promote and improve the SI business of Siemens for continuous development.
