On June 15th 2005, Siemens Industrial Automation Ltd. Shanghai (SIAS), an operating company of Siemens Ltd. China Automation and Drives Group (A&D), celebrated her 10th Anniversary in Shanghai. Customers over country, Government officials of Shanghai foreign investment association, Mr. Herweck, GM of SLC A&D and Vice President of SLC, Mr. Platsch, CFO of SLC A&D and Chairman of Board of SIAS, SIAS board members and Managers and all staffs of SIAS congregated for the special day of SIAS. Siemens Industrial Automation Ltd., Shanghai (SIAS) was built up as a joint venture in 1995 by Siemens Ltd. China and Shanghai Automation Instrumentation Co.,Ltd. From 1997 to 1999, SIAS' business scope has transferred from selling pure products into providing totally integrated automation solutions.

Mr. Herweck, GM of SLC A&D, Vice President of SLC appraised that SIAS, as the only one engineering company of Siemens A&D in process automation in China, has her special charm.
