On July 30^th a door opening ceremony party was held in SIAS' new PI Workshop in Xinzhuang, Shanghai. SIAS' DGM Mr. An Xiaojie as well as other colleagues from the Purchasing Department attended this party. The Plant Manager Mr. Lutz Oreans showed the guests around and introduced the spacious workshop which offers about 2000 m2.The working environment gave the visitors a good impression, promising a successful future of the PI workshop.

This is the first automation instrument Workshop of Siemens Ltd., China, Industry Sector, Industry Automation & Drive Technologies(SLC I IA&DT) to manufacture the onsite instrument of intelligent Sitrans P transmitter, electromagnetic Flow meter, Gas Chromatography, Level, mass. As the first product of the workshop's production line, intelligent Sitrans P transmitters will be available on the Chinese market in October..

By opening the PI workshop, A&D and SIAS further improve their competitive position on the Chinese market by cutting costs, reducing the deliver time and improving the reaction speed to the customer.
