"Inspire、Actions、Develop、Together", Siemens IA&DT Partner Summit ' 09 was successfully held in Ningbo on Oct 28^th – 30^th , 2009. Over 150 invitees from the top 100 Siemens IA&DT partners, including IA&DT authorized distributors and system integrators, attended the summit together with about 70 Siemens internal colleagues. Mr. Peter Herweck, Executive Vice President of Siemens Ltd. China and President Industry Sector, North East Asia, made the opening speech. In the meantime, Mr. Thomas Schmid and Mr. Wang Haibin, Senior Vice President of I IA & DT of SLC, Mr. De Maistre, SLC Senior Vice President and General Manger of I BT, attended the summit and delivered key speeches.

On this year' s summit, there are dinner meeting, plenary, breakout-sessions covering all new structured IA&DT BU business, 17 VIP meetings for in-depth discussion and experience sharing with GMO, awarding ceremony and team building. Totally 32 awards for region, BU and IA&DT level best partners had been opened during the ceremony.

Plenary:

For this summit, a clear core message was designed before the event, and all topics and discussion were deducted basing on that. In the plenary session, strategies were expressed clearly and accurately, attendees can easily understand Siemens IA&DT business and partner business strategies and development tendency. "BU key information sharing" was firstly added into Partner Summit in this year, 6 BU GMs delivered their BU core message one by one. Also, BT partner business was introduced firstly this time. Moreover, presentation concerning logistics and Siemens compliance had been delivered thoroughly. As one of the traditional parts of Partner Summit, successful partner experience sharing was included, the representatives from Jiangsu Dingyang and TRIED shared their though with us.

VIP meetings/ Breakout-sessions:

There are totally 17 pcs VIP meetings during the event period with well prepared in advance. GMO can close approach to our partner representatives and got meaningful feedback. Two breakout-sessions for distributor and SI topics were held synchronously with VIP meeting on 29th afternoon.

Awarding:

This time, IA&DT awarded the best partners from RG, BU and IA&DT level, and 32 awards were given to the winners. The criteria & awarding reason for each prize was mentioned in public, which is transparent and impartial.

This is the 12^th annual Partner Summit, which is aimed to provide a platform for thorough communication and experience sharing between Siemens IA&DT and its partner, as well as among our partners. As Mr. Herweck summarized in his speech, "we are confident for next year and commit to grow faster than the market. Let' s together invest in the future and promise to do fair and healthy business in the market."
